I just finished the tutorial and it recently asked me to go to the end of the pier and press triangle on PlayStation. After I pressed the button, it took me to a never ending loading screen which I restarted my PlayStation and reopened the game. Afterwards the tutorial was gone. I can't access the other map, and I can't do anything else which it's leaving me stuck on the pier where I can't teleport.

No, it’s impossible (I tried with friends) because we can’t be added to groups when we are on the first island
Same here, looking for solution as well. Thinking of it now, what you could try is add a friend and join them (somehow/dont know if tp option works) when they're on the normal map..? Luckily the skatepark is decent on the island I guess!
Same here. The purple circle on the ground just disappeared and nothing happened..
