Tall Characters Pop Higher?

It seems as though increasing your character's height will also increase the height of your ollies and flip tricks.

There is a noticeable difference when going back and forth between short and tall characters, all other things being equal and staying on the same obstacle. It is therefore much easier for tall characters to complete objectives than for short characters. 

I have a 3min video of me showing this but the video is too big to attach. Here is 2 screenshots of a successful ollie for height 1 and 3. This difference is consistent in game. 

Is this intended or a bug? I understand that tall people may pop higher irl but in a game it should probably be equal right?
