Task progress stalls if logged on during a task update/refresh

I was online playing the game while the rollstice event rolled out, did the challenges, and I had complete progress on the top two tasks, but I wasn't getting rewards (it was just a full bar and not giving reward). I'm aware of this bug because the work around is to restart the game when a task refresh happens if you were in the game, . after which you can do progress on tasks again - but you'll find the tasks you thought you were progressing have been reset to 0.. Never felt the need to report this bug because honestly it was so minor.. 

BUT in this specific case I'm unsure if this Roll-Stice 1 event will be completable - now that i've done all  current roll-stice challenges on the map, You CANNOT get progress on the Roll-stice Challenge Goals task with already completed challenges.. the only fix is hoping they add more challenges, Which i hope happens right? either way this bug should be fixed even though its usually minor (for me).

 
atleast I can do the "complete challenge goals in party" task again since that seems like it doesn't require rollstice challenges -- but Ideally somehow the devs can bring back all task progress somehow?

The specific repeatable way this bug happens for me is if im in the game vibing doing whatever you do skate, it hits 11pm, now I do my dailies (or weeklies if it's tuesday), may notice they are either disappeared on menu or not progressing,  or doing weird things like progressing and then resetting to 0 if they go past the amount required
