"The Mime Push" Fakie Coffin + BF Push let's player push rolling the wrong way
I assume this is unintended behavior for players but I also think this sort of thing is super rad.
For the uninitiated: The game has two specific settings for how it behaves when rolling fakie the player gives input to push:
"Hold Fakie Stance"
- Lets the player stay in Fakie stance when rolling without tricking. AFAIK this is required to be enabled for setting up Fakie at all.
"Hold Fakie Push"
- When this setting is turned off, it enables the player to press the push button once to quickly shuffle stance from Fakie/Nollie to Switch/Regular. This is awesome as you otherwise could not freely choose when to change stance without an incline or trick.
- When this is turned on this also gives unique utility that would not otherwise be possible as you now can set up Fakie/Nollie - do a trick - push to get enough speed to do another trick - return to Fakie/Nollie rolling.
Today I found out that if you roll fakie, go to pseudo-Fakie Coffin (the game still calls it Coffin) and immediately hold the back foot push input, the character gets up and pushes in the direction they are facing (at this point they still face opposite the direction of travel.)
This is super cool as this is kind of a silly real world trick that I learned of from Andy Anderson, one of my favorites in this video:

I totally get that in game this is considered a bug but do think that the complexity and intricacy of this game's attention to realistic-ish behavior just lets players suddenly do very creative stuff when something does not work in its strict boundaries. "Do the push motion but don't drag your foot on the ground" is obviously too niche to fit into any of this games control schemes but I would like to make the case that an Emote, which basically plays the regular push animation could totally replace this bug as an "intended" way to achieve basically the same thing without adding basically any complexity.
This only seems to work while "Hold Fakie Push" is turned OFF. Also the front foot push input does not seem to lead to the same behavior.
The Attachment is a quick demonstration of the behavior.
I don't think this affects this bug but my character is Goofy Height 2 Build 6 and I'm using the experienced control preset.
Thank you all for working on this game.
