I'm softlock bc tour 1 don't activate. But i have a bigger problem. When i try to verify the integrity of the files on steam, EVERY TIME it shows me that validation failed for 3 files and steam will download it again. It happens but it doesn't do anything, i tried to uninstall and delete all the game files ect. and install it again, 3 files in failure.
Someone has an idea ?

I'm having the exact same problem. Game runs and works but during challenges the challenge will just disappear and I won't be able to pause and exit the challenge. Softlocking me into a weird pseudo-open-world with no UI. Then I have to restart, validate my files, and I get the 3 files failed error and it works again. Glad to know I'm not the only one, thought it was something wrong with my pc.
yeah you arent the only one my game loads past menu then kicks me out
same exact problem with me, it used to just be that i would validate and be able to run the game again, but now it just kicks me out from menu every time. Even after validating the files over and over again.
What worked for me was, obviously I play on controller on pc, when I tried to get past the startup screen with controller I would get kicked out, when I again verified files, restarted pc, and then started skate with controller plugged it (cause of steam) but until I was actually able to skate I used my keyboard to load in
ohh and repairing Microsoft Visual C++ over settings>apps in windows and restarting helps if you also have memory leak issues like me with it
Hi, similiar problem here, I think these 3 files are related to "shaders"(?) in game. My griptape looks like flat black texture, when others have this crispy sharp griptape and nice textures. Same thing with 3 files, it says that the files were downloaded but it doesn't do anything, can't see my stickers on board as well and as I said eariler, I have "old" textures in game, tried reinstalling, disabling anti-virus and downloading game again, tried clearing Nvidia shader cache, tried installing from different platforms, Epic, Ea, Steam, tried deleting files from %appdata% -> roaming -> local -> Skate, and nothing helps. Has anyone had a similar problem and somehow fixed it? What is worth noticing, sometimes after countless reinstalls, I had this better textures and everything was working fine, but after restarting the game it goes back to the old textures.
