Thank you, this worked on my end for this issue! Hopefully this will be resolved sometime soon!
I also noticed that if you disable the dialogue text in the accessibility menu, you cannot even skip the dialogue anymore. I find myself regularly hitting the skip button instinctively and having to wait, the bug has something to do with trying to skip the dialogue part, atleast it has not happened to me after i have let the "cutscene" play out
