When I start missions, game keeps switching my default regular stance to goofy.

I skate regular. But every time I go to start a mission and use my session marker it keeps resetting my stance to goofy and the camera follows which throws off my whole flow. 
I switch it back and forth in the setting so it can be regular again but moments later changes it on its own again.

    Same for me, but opposite. My skater is goofy but every challenge starts in regular. And any time I pick up the board, the player puts it back down in regular. So annoying.

    FYI I fixed this by looking in game settings and saw that my default stance was set to regular. 

    I definitely chose goofy at the start of the game so I think something's up.
