GP cap for how far players can fall is an awful idea. Please do not suggest it again.  It would limit how high players could rise because CG are going to keep the same % of total players in each league/division to maintain the crystal economy. By gating how far high GP players can fall you limit how high smaller players can rise. It would make GP differences worse not better. 

GAC matchmaking (such as it is) isn’t great, but by having it as it is smaller players can grow faster, accelerate progress, and start to reach a GP where we can beat the fallen giants. The long term is better even if it doesn’t feel it in the short term.
