I do not get why it takes so long.
We are talking about the store, where we want to spend money

My issue is that I have been making purchases in the game on PC for the past two years without any problems. However, for more than a week now, whenever I click on an item I want to buy in the in-game shop, I get an infinite loading screen.
This happens with almost everything, including the Lightspeed Pack, Crystal Packs, and the Battle Pass. A few packs sometimes load correctly, but most of them do not.
When the infinite loading occurs, the game becomes completely unresponsive and I am forced to close it because I can no longer do anything. As a result, I have to make purchases through my phone instead, where the prices are less favorable and some packs are not even available.
I have tried everything I could think of to fix the issue, but nothing has worked so far.

Yes its exactly my problem i have infinite loading like on your screenshot when i want buy battlepass or other lightspeed pack/gemmes pack.

Hey, there is more and more reports of people unable to buy anything in the store, on the PC client of the game (I think Yasuke wrote "can buy" in description instead of "can't buy").
There are reports of this issue on the SWGOH reddit and on this forum too (https://forums.ea.com/discussions/swgoh-technical-issues-en/impossibilit%C3%A9-dacheter-dans-la-boutique/5028585 and

In my case, the store is working as intended on Android (tablet/phone), the issue is only on the Pc client of the game : after clicking on the button to buy the pass, nothing is loading, we got this :
