Mandalore Kryatt mission.

I have completed this mission successfully many times. However, the only time I lose is when the kryatt dragon eats my character and I use the event ability, but my character never gets spit back out. Why is this happening? Seems like a horribly designed boss or a bug. Meanwhile, CG is nerfing good raid teams and building new characters instead of fine tuning the design of a necessary mission that is years old at this point.
