The Maz's lead GAC omicron says that when a pirate use a ability against a deathmarked ennemy, it would instantly defeat them, but it doesn't work, I have seen many time this ability not working, for example against Taron Malicos who doesn't want to die.
In addition the Captain Ithano's unique TW omicron says that it calls two allies to attack (one tank and one support) but it actually call only one to assist...

I read it as it has to specifically be the deathmark they get for insta-defeating one of your guys, and not the other deathmark that she gives.
It may be right however it is not what it says... Even if it works correctly the text has to be edited... (Honestly I'd prefer that it's a bug and not an imprecise definition, Mae would be more useful if the effect worked with all deathmark)
