I understand the update is about to change a lot; however, there's no Galactic Challenge to complete for the episode quest. Other people pointed it out so I'm just adding this.

Yes, there was. When the feat came out, the GC was still around. I completed it with no issues. Maybe instead of creating pointless articles on here, pay more attention to the game.
Some people (myself included) completed the GC when it came out, the quest wasn't here when the GC initially started so anyone who completed it early is unable to do the episode quest
