Node refresh takes crystals but doesn’t refresh sims

I’m grinding Brutus shards and when I hit refresh runs for 25 crystals, the game charges me and takes the crystals but the 5 battles are not refreshed. I hit the refresh button several times, costing 25 crystals each, before I realized the bug.
