Animal Shed from Country living won't allow me to place animals in them

When I try to assign an animal to a shed, the animal won't show up and then all the other animals I could assign are greyed out. I tried deleting the shed and place it again and purchasing more animals but they won't appear in the shed. I made sure that the shed is in a place with enough room as well so there isn't anything around the area interfering with it. This issue started and has been happening for several days since I updated my game.
