Baby Left Behind While in Build Mode

I have the For Rent Pack and one of my main sims owns a rental. Recently one of the tenants moved out of their unit, they had 3 children, a toddler, infant and a baby. Once they left I moved a new household into the unit. When I went into build mode to adjust the place to the new tenant I was surprised to find that the baby had been left behind in the unit, despite the parents being long gone and the baby not being included in the new tenant's household at all. I could move the baby around in build mode all I wanted without seeming to cause any problems to how the game functioned. When I went back into Live mode the baby was gone, but the bassinet was still where I left it (outside on the lawn as part of a yard sale I wanted to make it look like I was selling the baby).
