Hello everyone,
So I wanted to create a business specifically for servos so they can learn the Robotic skill and be more self-efficient. However, they're not listed in the Occult category at all for client requirements (I looked in the other categories and they're not there either)...So I can't create the business I want just because they miss from selection.

Servo is consistently forgotten so much that I have to imagine the internal design documents forgot to list him as an occult type years and years ago, and nobody's bothered to fix it. They design stuff, they go "ok let's make sure this is correct for all the occults..." and completely gloss over Servo...EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. It's baffling, there HAS to be some missing page in a document somewhere.
As someone who enjoys playing with Servo this is very unfortunate to hear about. I really hope this gets fixed soon.
They still appear under club settings but not small businesses which is definitely an oversight. I hope.
Do they really appear in the club settings? I don't remember well but when they changed the club settings to match the businesses ones, I don't find Servos for clubs either. They did before but not anymore if I'm not mistaken

It's still an open issue.
Funny enough there's also a bug report from 5 years ago saying you can't add outfits to the: [NEEDS INPUT] [GT] [DU] Servos wear club outfits | EA Forums - 11507871 so it looks like it was possible at some point.
Jomilej Since 7 people upvoted this, I'm going to put this on review but for the future, bugs are no longer processed if you don't add thread tags for mods and platform or at least add the info to your post.

This is currently by design as Servos are not considered occult Sims.

How on earth are Servo not considered occult sims? They certainly aren't human. Not in appearance, not in behavior, not in functionality, not even in motives. What possible requirements could there be to declare something an "occult" that don't include Servos? A ghost is more of a normal sim than a Servo.
Bafflingly this reveal also lowers the official count of occults in Sims 4 by one, which is impressively sad considering how few we have gotten compared to other games in the series.
It might also explain why development seems to forget Servo exists- There must be a design document out there on "checking for occult compatibility" that just doesn't include Servo so nobody thinks about them before making new content. That would explain a lot, actually.
I feel as though Servos get forgotten about a lot. They were never even given a facial expression when Fear was added to the game. I'm not really sure a Servo should be able to get scared but when they do, their faces are blank on their UI portraits.
I also think it's silly to say servos aren't occult sims. They have their own special plumbob like other occults do, for one. Even if servos don't strictly fit the definition of "occult", I would still group them in for the sake of organization/separation since they're very different from other sims.
I too am disappointed that servos seem to get overlooked in general, since there are plenty of other simmers like me who enjoy playing them & wish they'd get more attention.
