Broken since Update - Hotfixes utterly useless

Can't play the game at all, after Lovestruck came out. I can replicate the problem every single time. Save doesn't matter which one - old or brand new. It killed three saves I've put hours into so far, that I can only delete.

The simology window for my kids are still flashing around and break the entire UI after I once click on them. Plus the save STAYS broken, even after force quitting through task manager and reloading into the save. So up until now probably 8+ hours down into the sewers for broken saves.
The Hotfix that was supposed to fix it... it didn't for me. Not one bit. Still flashing around even with freshly created saves once the kid/teen reaches a positive trait it's all broken again.
