build buy, saving and exiting broken. corrupted save file??

hi everyone, i’ve never used this forum before but i’m having a lot of issues and spent a few hours trying to figure it out with no avail. whenever i went into buildbuy it wouldn’t let me move things and would randomly disappear objects i attempt to move. everytime i try to exit, save or even go to manage worlds it gets stuck and i have to force exit using task manager. i’ve removed all my mods, repaired game ect and the only thing im seeing being the issue is my saved game itself. when i delete all my saves and start a new one theres 0 issues. but if i put my old save in the game boom its not working. i have NO idea why. i’ve spent so many hours on my family and adore them. i don’t want to lose that save file but it seems impossible to fix. is this a corrupted save file? is there any way to fix it? 

im super disappointed at EA. i’ve heard multiple peoples save files get ruined by bugs. what’s the point if the saves ive spent so long on can be ruined over an update.
