Can't drag dishes to the sink or the dishwasher or the trash to the trashbin

My sims can't drag dishes or any trash on lot to the sink or trashcan. I can pick up the plate and trash but it wont do anything else the spoiled food in inventory wont move out and can't sell like usual.
