Can't fish in Sulani?

I went to the dock in Sulani to fish and when I clicked the sign my sim went to swim? He got to a boat to the right a little farther out and stopped and waved his hands like something was in the way? I updated MCCommand and UI Cheats thinking it was that after the update today but even after I did that I had the same prob. Anyone else?

    It's an ongoing problem that we've had since the updates in July and August. I think there's a mod that will fix it, listed somewhere in the thread linked by puzzlezaddict. If you're like me, and prefer not to use mods, there's nothing to do about it but wait for EA to fix it. In the meantime, you can either fish in other worlds or fish from boats in Sulani.
