I just updated my game and when I went into my current household and went to CAS so I could see the new base game updates it wouldn't load. It was stuck on the plumbob loading screen no matter what I tried. I repaired the game which I've never had to do after an update and I updated the mods I had that could be updated so far. Has anyone else had this issue?

EDIT: I have removed UI cheats & more columns for CAS. It has fixed the problem. Fingers crossed it continues to work. Saw people say there were 2 updates today so make sure you did the 2nd update today as well

The same is happening to me. CAS doesn't load after the second update. Updates are always 😤
Mine is doing the same thing also! I thought it was a defected mod but i see everyone is having the same issue
I only got one notification for an update. I didn’t see the new update
I was having this problem too until I removed more columns from my mods and now it works. Try removing UI cheats extension too if you have it as well.
i have the same problem i hate ea/maxis im old all i want do is play my game and go to sleep but i can't do that cause they broke!! every time they put out a update the broke it!?! and its like how do you expect people to give you 50 bucks and your crap doesn't work
What I do to close if your on windows press the windows act like your restarting your computer but then press cancel and it automatically closes out sims
I've been trying to fix it for like an hour now and nothing is working. All I want to do is make pretty sims with my cc but I can't! I'm not good with technology so all the tutorials talking about going into folders and deleting stuff or whatever are too scary for me to do. This is so frustrating.
Was dealing with the same problem, got CAS to open but the name plate is not changing and now the whole household has the same name.
