Since the new update and me downloading Lovestruck everytime I try to go into cas it gets stuck on the loading screen and I have to restart my PC each time, I have went through my mods folder deleting cc and mods to try and figure out what's affecting it, I need some help with what mod may be crashing it. I deleted more colums mod, Height sliders, mc command center, UI cheats, all my eyelashes, Tool mod, Better build buy, and any traits that could mess it up. anything that may interfere, but it just won't open cas no matter what I do, am I missing anything?

CAS not opening is related to mods. Please check the List for Broken/Obsolete and Updated Sims 4 Mods: 1.109 (September 18, 2024) Game Update for more information.
Please post in the Mods forum for help if you can't figure what mod is causing the issue for you.
Please create a new thread if you have issues without any mods installed and also deleted the localthumbcache file.
Did anyone find an actual solution? I'm having this same problem even without the mods :(
I think it has somerhing to do with an older trait mod. I just haven't figured out which one yet.
If you are having this issue with mods deactivated though? It has to be the "more competent" code we are now getting.

Thank you, I figured the same but better exceptions isn't able to read which trait mod it seems to be .. I even took the traits out of my game and it's still not loading.
This is happening to me as well. im assuming the issue is W. Whims since I don't have other trait or mods that aren't furniture.
I repaired the game, disabled all mods and it let me enter CAS. Then I turned mods back on to continue as usual. This is a really annoying work around but it did workJust got this same issue after I got the new pack and added my CC. Got rid of all my mods and nothing has worked!! Someone please help 😭 I got rid of all script mods and all CAS mods. I have had issues in the past with UI issues but I was able to fix them. Found this issue because I wanted to make a new game and was stuck on a white screen. I can go into a sims world but if I try to enter CAS, I get stuck on the white screen of death. Nothing has worked and all I wanted to do was relax and get back on the Sims 4 after 6 months. Really discouraging, EA.

I have found a workaround temporarily.
Start your game, Do NOT resume that game. Go to the Load Game panel, load the game you want to edit sims in, Do Not play that game, go to household management panel, pick the household you want to edit, select Cas. The game will actually go to CAS so you can edit the sims, save the sims and exit CAS. Go to the next household, wash, rinse, repeat as you need to.
Save and exit the game, then you can restart the game and resume playing your now edited sims.
That may also help point the games coders in a better direction to find and kill this bug.
This bug only appears if we try to go to CAS after playing the household. The bug is completely repeatable. Play a household try going to CAS and the game locks and must be closed from Task Manager. Cas does work as long as you do not play the any household before trying to edit in Cas.
I'm having the same problem better exemptions can't find it I'm going to try the platform but this is ridiculous that I can't get into Cash not with MC not with in-game full cast edit it's just stuck on the loading screen I've uninstalled all my mods my complete mod folder repaired my game restarted it they finally succeeded in breaking it as much as Sims 3
rly hope they fix this, I made one of my sims have exaggerated proportions as a joke and now I cant change it back </3 LMAO

I only had the problem loading existing games, so I started a new savegame, saved it, restarted the game (and the PC too) and then called up an old savegame and then the Cas worked again.
