Update 2025/01/30
EA has implemented a non-fix for this. This means that the items are no invisible (most of them) but still there. The overlapping festivals seem fixed but the objects are not....

Disclaimer: Thank you EA for letting me early access test the new pack. I tested on a non-final version.
So I tested this with the new lot type that's coming with the Businesses and Hobby pack. The good news is, they seem to work differently than the affected lot types so the new one is not affected by this bug.
I checked this with S4Studio which of course isn't updated for the new pack so it could be preliminary but I did test putting a bike/guitar in the world and then changing into a small business/residential lot and they didn't disappear. As the lot is classified as residential though, it seems to be a different system.
I did not have a lot of time to test so take this all with a grain of salt.
