Delivery people can't reach mailbox

I had my sim's mailbox on the porch. The delivery guy was not making the way to the box. I had it nicely facing the garbage side by side to the front door. I tried moving it to help him, but he still...

Porches usually shouldn't be an issue. With the reaper event there's an issue with the mail man though.

Is he still stuck on your lot ? If not, just wait for the new one and see how that goes.
