Since the most recent updates, every save becomes unplayable. I can play each save for a few hours and save multiple times but eventually Error Code 0: Can not save. I have taken out all my mods. It’s still happening. I play on Steam if that matters. Please fix this!
I am having the same issue! I lost hours of gameplay because of it. I did figure out that I can do "save as" and save it as a new file and that seems to work. But it is quite annoying to have to save as a new file every single time. Today's update did not fix the issue.
I'm having the same problem, but only on one of my saves. I've tried every solution suggested on the EA Answers site, but nothing worked.
I just started having this issue after Thursday's patch! I am able to save as a new save every time but it is so annoying. A google search shows this happening all the way back to 7 years ago!! I really hope they do an emergency patch this coming week.
I have exactly the same problem. I've started several new games since the update and each one eventually hits this. I didn't know about that 'save as' work around, many thanks for that suggestion.
I've never had any CC or any mods on my Sims 4, so I'd say that it isn't one of those causing it, but a bug in the game itself.
thats the thing, the longer this game goes on the oldest bugs keep coming back and i genuinely dont know how theyre gonna keep up. like the gardening bug started when seasons was released and is still happening despite being patch countless times. its scary how much more content is expected to be added to this very fragile game
i tried clicking the pc/mac link and nothing came up

I'm having the same issue I even repaired the thegame 3 times each time it happened the save will work for a while after repares when I'm saving my existing file but after a bit it the error will return after when I haven't saved in so long it manage to save as a second game file but I only need 1 save file
same issue plus it erased 1/2 of my DLC. my playstation says it’s installed but then when i open my game, i don’t have access to that neighborhood or my sims are bald because the hair is from that pack and it wants me to buy it again! my game is up to date and as a console player, no mods. this is insane. stuff i paid for has just disappeared. and EA is no help.
Same issue and it's driving me crazy. I purchased High School Years and Discober University, which I've not played yet due to the bug. I completely redecorated and built into the High school which took a few hours and it saved NOTHING! I was so pussed that I haven't even played since then.
