Event not working

Any event no matter how I start it will not work. No dates no parties nuthing. Started happing after the new update I restarted I  made a new world nuthing works. The pop on social is there but when I click it nuthing happens. When I start it on the calendar it starts but the UI doesn't show up so I end up canceling. When in an event starts it just runs out the timerw
