Fear of Dark

Hi there Sims team, I've been experiencing this bug for a few months now where every time I have a Sim that becomes afraid of the dark drink the Fear-Be-Gone Potion, the trait is removed but the fear of the dark moodlet continuously comes back. I have tried the tips I can find online from adding the trait with cheats then drinking the potion, removing the trait with cheats, drinking Moodlet Solver Potion, to building confidence before going outside, etc.. but no matter what, the Sims that once had the trait are terrified of the dark, even on bright sunny days 🙁
