Fishing in Sulani

My Sims have not been able to fish in Sulani in forever. This happens on fresh games, with no mods. I have seen several forums regarding this same issue for quite some time and was just wondering if we could get an update on if this is going to be fixed anytime soon? Sulani is my favorite place to send my sims. It would be amazing to get an update and even more amazing to get this issue fixed. :)
