Forever Friends Event- unable to get the kids pajamas?

I finished the whole Forever Friends event today and didn’t do any of the bonus tasks, I am 20 xp away from getting the kids pjs and I don’t know why I was unable to get them. Are the pajamas really just locked to people playing with only base game or is this (I’m crossing my fingers) just a glitch? I have packs to do the optional ones but I didn’t do them because I was trying to speed run it. I didn’t realize I would be missing out and now I have no way to go back and get it. Is there anything I can do? I play on PS4 if that helps at all. I did every normal task and it says the event is finished, I have even closed the app and reloaded. I am at an impasse and this is my final hope. Is this a glitch or am I just unable to get the pjs now?
