Forever stuck in the audition phase: Acting Career.

When i have my sim join the acting career I can play through one successful gig before my sim gets stuck at the audition for their second gig. They will complete the audition but it will say in the job information section that gig is still due to happen on the same day at the same time as if it’s next week. When I try and cancel the gig it goes through the motions on the sim but it still remains in my task to do. I’ve even tried changing agencies and the problem continues where I’m stuck at the audition phase. I thought it was only two households sims but when I tried on my tester sim which is a one sim household the issue is presented. And I’ve repaired the game a few times and it still keeps happening at the second audition.
