Same! I just now encountered the Garden Blight issue and do not have any marked "blighted" plants on the lot.
Same issues here. Garden Blight and Broken stove (explosive) events keep starting, but each time there are not affected items to resolve, so I cannot end the event or go into build mode.
Same problem for me with Garden Blight and Explosive Malfunction. Extremely annoying because I can't cancel the event but can't move on another lot until it's resolved (so I'm stuck at home for the day).
However the Cursed Book seems to work.
Yes I have the exact same issue with garden blight. I clicked on every plant on my lot and none of them had the deploy blight spray option. It is winter in my game so I made sure to try clicking on everything in case I couldn't see the visual difference between the blighted plants and the out of season ones.
I never see a difference with any plants being labeled with blight. I literally just choose a random plant and uproot it and it completes the challenge. There is not option to apply blight spray because I can't find the blighted plant.
Can confirm eight months after this initial bug report that this is still an issue. I've been playing on a regular residential lot with Maintenance Troubles and neither the blighted plants nor the broken stove/grill event work properly. They trigger, but my plants are fine and my cooking appliances are in tip top condition. (Normally those aren't things I'd complain about but I'm using this lot challenge because I want things to go wrong.)
