Game crashes in build mode

When attempting to redecorate any part of my sim's home or build anything the game will let me get a few actions in then crash entirely. My game was fine before the most recent update. The update for enchanted by nature. I play on an Xbox X. I've tried clearing my cache, checking the cooling vent and restarting my console but nothing seems to help. This is incredibly frustrating.
