Game unplayable….time is frozen and I can’t do anything expect move my camera

I recently got back into playing the 100 baby challenge the last 3 days. I do not use any mods. I went to play and about 5 minutes in suddenly I noticed I couldn’t change my players, it’s stuck on one of my toddlers. Then I noticed all my sims stuck doing the same task but they aren’t actually performing them. Then I noticed the time clock is stuck at a specific time no matter what I do. The only thing I can do is move my camera around. I tried going into build mode and once I do I can’t perform any actions. When I try to save the game the game just stays on the loading screen forcing me to quit. I’ve tried restarting my computer and the game like 5 times. 

After this I decided to try out another game I have saved. I can switch to different players and the time clock is moving but none of the players can perform any actions. They just wave their arms and can’t walk through doorways, take showers, eat etc.
