Guests randomly show up sad, angry, or tense

Often, when I use 'Invite over to current lot" or "Plan a social event", guests randomly show up sad, angry, or tense.  I'm not sure I remember it happening with club gatherings, but maybe.  This just ruins the visit/gathering, and I have to resort to using the MCCC mod to remove all of their moodlets.  It's too hard to remove a specific moodlet; since I don't know the exact moodlets they have.  Even though I have MCCC to help me, I shouldn't have to do this.
