[HSY] Prom not taking place/not in calendar (Patch 1.116)

I don't know if I ever had prom in this save (vanilla PC file) but now that I have 3 teens I'm playing, and they have boyfriends, I realized prom isn't an option (not on calendar and there aren't any reminders either).

Prom is not happening nor are any prom interactions available. I have disabled mods and have already tried to repair the game. 

I just bought the highschool expansion pack a few days ago and have not been able to go to prom. I have no options to ask anyone to prom either. I’ll get invites from other sims asking to get together before prom, but there is no prom after the get together.

This is still an issue even after todays bug patches.  No Prom on calendar, no prom invite.  Really not sure what to do at this point since I've tried the suggested ideas here.  

Any word on when the prom feature will be fixed! It’s still not available for my teen sims nor does it show up on the calendar!!

I have this same exact problem, I thought  I was crazy. I really wanted to play with it with my main family but I guess I'll have to wait 😖

crinrict​ I never mess with that pack option in my settings, so it's still on. No prom has come up, but I don't have teens in my main households(yet), only townies, who I usually stay away from as they're not my main priority.

I've been having an issue with prom for Highschool Years. When I attempt for a teenage sim to invite another teenage sim to prom (or any other options in that social category such as "promise not to go to prom together," etc.), the option does not appear at all in the pie menu. Additionaly, clicking the sim that the plumbob is on does not give me the option to create a promposal sign. Prom as an event in the calendar also does not appear, and it gives no notification to travel to the event once it reaches 7pm on Saturday. Strangely enough, I still received an invite to go to the before-prom get together.

Please note that upon clicking "more choices," the option is also not there.

I am an Xbox player, so I do not have access to any mods or CC.

This is a relatively new save and has likely existed for about a month, probably a bit before the November 6th bug fix. I'm not sure when the problem began because I haven't had any teen in my household until recently.

Apparently, many of us have this problem. Prom is gone from the calendar, so it does make sense that no one can be invited to it. It is probably the latest patch that caused this.

PS: I have a save file made on November 30 that still has prom in the calendar, and that particular prom works fine even now when I load that file. So it is very likely that the calendar is causing the problem and that the patch from December 2 did this.

Hi. The prom doesn't appear on the calendar at all. I'm not receiving any pre-prom party invitations either. I'm having the same problem when I run the game without mods. Please suggest solutions other than the ones I've listed below, because I've tried them all. I haven't used any mods. 

Repairing the game. 

Starting with a new save. 

Reinstalling the HSY DLC.

Disabling auto-age. 

Changing the lounges in Del Sol Valley to residential.
