[IL] Signed Fishing Spots Not Working in Sulani

This problem still exists after the 18 Sep 2024 update. Thread should remain active. 

I've been experiencing this bug for three months now. They won't fix it.

At first, I thought it was my mods, but after removing them many times (losing two saves because of it, one that I spent a year on and the other that I spent seven months on) and trying everything, it still didn't work.

Same here it has been a while .. can only fish by using the boats but still shouldn’t have to do that.

I posted this a while back but a temporary fix is if you have the T.O.O.L mod and get a sign in bb using the bb.showhiddenobjects  cheat. Then in Sulani you can put the new sign right in front of the ones that don't work. This is what has worked for me at least. 🙂

Same! I can no longer fish in Sulani except by boat. It happened after the last major content patch.

Same here. No mods or cc installed.

Same issue. The only exception is if a Sim takes the canoe out.

I was hoping it would be fixed with this latest update but sadly not 😢

As usual, the latest patch did NOT fix this issue! BOO EA!

I don't know when this problem occured but I first noticed it when the reepers challenge required me to fish for anglefish. my sim wouldn't fish from the pier and would just wade over to a nearby boat and fish off it instead.
