Invisible fire/Fire inaccessible

In my game at a friend's house, there was a fire. Once it was out, I tried to get back into my own home, but it was impossible! It said it wasn't possible during a fire, even though it was completely out!

No CC No mod and only base game.

what was on fire ? Does it happen every time you have a fire ?

I play on xbox one S, and since the recent big patch, fires are bugging. By this i mean, my sims show the "cant walk here" symbol when i attempt to extinguish, and when firefighters eventually show up they dont enter the house, and just stay outside until the fire dies down on its own after 3 ingame hours.

I had a fire today that I couldn't see anywhere in the lot. The sims were freaking out, the alarm went off after awhile I think.  Then all eventually the stove was also on fire that did show up .. but no interaction to extinguish or call.  Then they acted like it was over and then finally the stove and counter became black.. out of no where.  Then a message giving some cash due the burnt stove.  Has anyone else had this Happen since the last update?

I'm having the same issue again. There is now a new problem that the fires are constant. 

I've merged your post with another thread of inaccessible fires. 

If fire has started on some surface (table etc), it's impossible to extinguish it or call the fire department by clicking on it. Luckily fire doesn't go any further than table where it started, by I forced to just wait when it's ended by it's own.
Easily can happen by using Incense Holders from Spa Day pack, of if spellcaster uses Inferniate spell 

Unsure which savefile it was anyways; game uses numbers even if name the saves when saving. but put stuff to burn by a stairs then with cheats on spawn a fire there.

I guess don't put anything that can cause fire by stairs for now, if possible.
