leaving work/school prematurely

hi besties, i’ve noticed a bug these days - especially when i tried to finish the event going on rn - that when my sims go to work/school (probably any rabbithole event) & i try to travel to other lots with my active sims, it kicks the working sims out of their workday, therefore decreasing performance & pay. anyone else that has this problem?
