[MAC] Makeup sliders don't work when sliding to the left

This bug is listed in the Archived Bug Reports as [Open], but I'm confused why it's not in the new Bug Reports area if it's still considered open, so I apologize if I'm in the wrong for reporting this. This change over is really confusing to me.

On Mac (latest OS on a 2023 Macbook Pro M3 Pro Chip) makeup and skintone sliders are still not working correctly after the newest patch.

They only work when sliding to the right except for the Opacity slider on makeup which works both left and right. It has been that way since I switched over to Mac in April 2024.

I was hoping with the new tattoo sliders, the makeup sliders would be fixed finally for Mac, but they aren't.

This was originally reported two years ago. I really wish it could get some attention.

I too am also still having this issue with the sliders! All categories of makeup cannot be tuned when moving the slider to the left side. Can't believe it has been bugged for so long and hasn't been fixed! Like others in this thread, I have a MacBook Air with an M2 chip.

  • I’m having this issue with not being able to slide left on a new m4 MacBook. I don’t actually remember it happening on my m1 but I really only started using color sliders recently. I had to switch back to my old 2019 MacBook last fall for a few months after my m1 broke and color sliders definitely worked normally on the 2019 intel. Now I’m realizing the reason they weren’t very useful to me on the m1 is because they weren’t sliding the full range of color and I couldn’t make anything darker, so I never bothered. Now that I’ve had working sliders and use them so much, I really feel the loss, especially when the CAS updates are big. Being broken to the left means it’s a problem to adjust for darker skin, which seems particularly problematic.

Thank you for bringing this issue up again! It's been years since the Makeup and Skintone sliders broke in my game on my M1 Mac and this problem hasn't even been addressed yet...

I have the same issue while playing on my Mac. While on CAS I can not turn characters because even tho I rotate to left or right with my mouse it shifts toward the left, I also have the same shifting problem when editing the details of the body.

The rotating problem is not something I've experienced and I use a mouse with my Macbook. Maybe should open a separate thread for that problem.
