Marries sims now siblings

My married sims are now tagged as siblings??? I realized after one of my sims had a skillful sleep that I could no longer preform romantic interactions between the two. Looking into their family tree it showed they were still married, still soulmates, but now also sisters??  Is anyone else having this problem?
