Merfolk don't have nails in their merfolk/occult form

There were never any nail categories for merfolk in their occult form (which I believe was an error on EA's part, at least the fingernails) and previously to add nails, I had to disable the filters in accessories to be able to give them nails. Now it seems like the nails were removed entirely as I can no longer find them when disabling the filters. I'd just like to know if this was intentional or an error/bug? Most of us Simmers would really love to be able to have a fingernail category for merfolk because it really adds to the overall look and personality of the Sim and I personally really believe all occults should have nails/claws in both their human and occult forms. Could we please have clarification on this? Thank you in advance.
