Milestones (for infants at least) is broken

Been trying to unlock my infant sims' milestones and while the animation plays, nothing happening. This has been happening for 2 days now. Decided to fully test it with an infant who according to the milestones list, does not have the "first bath" milestone unlocked, gave her a bath and absolutely nothing changed. No update to the list, no animations, no notification.
