Re: Sims 4 - Packs missing from EA app
The game is not recognizing any of my purchased and installed packs, and I'm not sure why.
My packs are installed and recognized correctly by the EA App.
But when I load into my game, none of my previous saves can be played with because it claims I don't own the 45 additional content packs I've purchased. This change was sudden and abrupt with no change on my end, other than updating the EA App to the most recent update.
When I click on the packs in game, to purchase them, its says I already own them.
I've tried:
Repairing the Game.
Deleting the EA App cache data.
Deleting the Game Cache data, including the accountDataDB package before running the game. (This worked for a time, but doesn't any longer)
Next Steps:
Uninstall and Reinstall the game and all packs.
(this is a time consuming process, and other Simmers who are reporting this same issue in the Sim Groups on Facebook have confirmed this isn't fixing their problem either.
There have been a large number of reports to this problem, since the most recent EA App update, but they're all being merged into a years old solved thread on AHQ, which originally discussed the EA App not recognizing purchased packs. The issue I'm reporting is referring to the game not recognizing purchased packs, and is technically not the same issue at all.
