My photos in my personal and household inventory are just black

My photos are black idk why. I do play with mods and cc but I know the update has come with lots of bugs. I have been doing a legacy challenge for 9 generations and my photos that I have in my household inventory from previous gens are black. The family photos I have on the walls of my house are still normal though. I had taken selfies of my sim yesterday when I played, and today they were black as well as the ones in my household inventory. 

If this has happen to anyone else please tell me because I'm confused. Is it because of mods/cc or is it a bug from the update? I do have the better exceptions mod plus I just went through all my broken mods and cc on the 30th and the 1st.

    Yeah mine are too. This has been an issue with certain savefiles for ages. Sadly the only permanent workaround i found was to just create my own cc of the family photos. It seemed hard at first but it only took me one day to learn how to do it by using sims 4 studio

    I have the same problem, I don't play with mods, so I think it is because of the update.
