My stuff keeps breaking even though I upgraded it to be unbreakable

I finally have a bigger house, three bathrooms, but it is so awful because every time at least one things break per day. I reached level 10 handiness and everything is unbreakable, and although my sim fixes it quickly due to the level, it shouldn't break!! Why is this bug still here, it's been years, and it's never fixed. The irony. And no, I don't use mods.
