Nature's Calling Event Broken

I'm seeing a lot of people posting about this glitch. To summarize, it's like the game is working offline when it shouldn't be.

I had the same issue last night, but I noticed my game's start menu was still showing online (links and news on the side, shop access, ECT)

I'm not guaranteeing a fix, but what worked for me was turning in the event from the start screen. Loading into live mode after doing that, everything went back to normal. Might be a random glitch, I don't know, but I hope this can help someone else <3
