New Update Crashed University Life

Following the update this morning, almost everything disappeared from my sims' inventories, including work tablets and all of my Uni homework books (haven't verified HS or MS homework yet). I can purchase them via a bookshelf but still cannot put them in the world or my inventory. Every now and then it will allow me to complete one of my courses HW but the book is still invisible and it doesn't always complete it. Additionally, even though I just began a new term for some of my sims, once I placed their presentation boards in the world, they are now no longer registering as belonging to them and cannot be worked on or presented .....I have to withdraw all 7 sims from this term as to not screw up their GPAs or get kicked out. PLEASE FIX!!
