Paint From Referance Blank After Save

Since the August 2025 update, I’ve been experiencing a consistent issue where my Sim paints a picture from referance and regardless if it is displayed or stored, everything looks normal during the play session. But after saving (several times and ways) and exiting the game, then reloading the save file, all the paintings my Sim painted turn completely blank while retaining their details. Masterpieces are still worth the money, but the painting is blank. They have the image until you exit, even if you change lots or worlds... But once you exit, it is then gone forever. 

I cannot get the issue to fix. No mods installed. Windowed, Fullscreen. Save in Sim inventory, in house inventory, on the wall, on the painting stand, framed, not framed, save in world, save in game, save and exit to main, save and exit directly, reloaded old saves from months ago - multiple times, resaved as new game, saved as current save file, created a NEW SAVE, I can go on... 

I am in the middle of a ten generation playthrough where every family member and family portrait is painted from reference. The old paintings are still there and working. It's just anything NEW painted. I can't age up the family until this gets fixed so I can't play.
