Purchase Books interaction missing on Mac — Version 1.128.90.1230

I’m experiencing a book-purchasing issue in The Sims 4 on Mac and would appreciate your help investigating it.

Game version: 1.128.90.1230 (Mac)

Issue description:

Many DLC skill books are missing from the Skill category in the bookshelf purchase menu. For example, all three Video Gaming skill books from the City Living expansion pack are missing, even though City Living is installed and the EP03 folder is present in my The Sims 4 Packs directory.

The issue persists after repairing the game through the EA app.

I also tested the game using a completely fresh Sims 4 user folder and a new save, with no mods or custom content installed. In that fresh save, the “Purchase Books” interaction was missing from both bookshelves and computers on a regular residential lot.

Troubleshooting already attempted:

* Confirmed that City Living is installed in the EA app.

* Confirmed that the EP03 folder exists.

* Repaired the game through the EA app.

* Tested with a fresh user folder and a new save.

* Confirmed that no mods or custom content are installed.

The issue remains unresolved.

Could you please investigate whether this is a known issue with the current Mac version and advise me on any further troubleshooting steps?
