I am having the same issue currently. Every time I try to load up one of my households, it's just an endless loading screen. :(( I've tried deleting cache files, repairing the game, removing certain mods, bulldozing the lot they live in, etc. Nothing has worked. 😥

I split your thread as your scenario sounds different from the other thread.
Please move your mods folder to the desktop, delete Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > localthumbcache, repair your game and then try again on a backup of your save to see of you can duplicate the issue on a game with no mods.
I did as suggested and I went to one of my backup saves and it loaded up after a few minutes! I think it's a broken mod or corrupted CC causing the issue, since the game loaded smoothly without the mods folder.
